We ask: Where do these terms illuminate, and where do they obscure? What gets categorized as schräg—askew, not quite fitting—and what does this misalignment reveal about the social work language performs?
Methods Window: Grounded Theory Approach to Discourse Analysis
This analysis employs Grounded Theory methodology to examine AI discourse as it emerges across multiple social fields. We systematically coded academic papers, industry documentation, news media, and policy documents from 2020-2025, identifying recurring metaphors, phrases, and narrative structures.
